Breastfeeding supply question
I was having trouble bfing DC#3 and taking care of my twins so I started supplementing.
The new schedule I have going on right now is really working for all of us...just wondering if my supply will dwindle?
I have been:
Bfing in am 2x between 6 and 8 or 9. Then pumping at 2 and pumping before I go to bed. Supplementing in between so it's working out that he is getting about half and half.
Will my supply stay like it is while doing this or will it slowly decrease to nothing?

Yes it will probably dwindle. Or you'll start to only produce a good amount of milk in the morning.
But if this is working for you, that's what matters!!

It will definitely dwindle. Supply and demand. You may luck out though because you nursed twins and probably had good supply this time around.

i would assume it will remain as it is, but it wont increase. it's definitely possible that it can decrease. your supply is still driven by your hormones at this point, and between now and 12 weeks is an important time to establish the demand so your supply will keep up. just do the best you can!! even if you can pop the baby on here and there during the day while you're supplementing, that skin to skin time will help.

It will def go down. Happened to me. Wasn't able to continue BFing bc of it.
