Gassy baby please help!!
Ok my son is almost 2 weeks old and is so gassy. Seems to only bother him at night of course!! He grunts all night and passes gas like a champ. What can I do to help him? I am breastfeeding but don't think I'm eating gassy foods but I guess I am. Please any advise would help, and if anyone knows of gassy foods I should avoid that I might not know are gassy. Tia

Have you tried gas relief drops? You can use them with him. Those help.

If it continues and you notice he spits up or starts to have an issues with feeding like arching his back or any type of discomfort, you may want to consider cutting all dairy from your diet he may have a milk intolerance. BUT its WAY too early to jump to that conclusion.
My dd had a milk intolerance and she started out the way your son did and it just progressively got worse before I was able to adjust everything and then eventually got better.
Try keeping a diary of what you eat he may just be unable to digest something your eating. And see if there is any pattern between his nighttime gassiness and what you ate that day or even that week.

Gassy baby please help!!
I had the same issue with dd and tried a diet change which didn't hel much. My dr said its normal.
The good thing is he is passing gas. Does he have trouble pooping? Burping?
Two weeks may be too young but when he gets bigger Tummy time helps. I also gave dd gripe water bc I could feel all the gas bubbles in her tummy while I help her. It seemed to help. My last resort if she had trouble pooping was little tummies
Try having him sleep on a slight incline that may help too

Their GI tracts are shiny and new... everything is going to make them gassy! Do you eat a lot of dairy? Reducing that might help. We used gripe water with DD2 and that also helped. Now she's a gas-passing champion lol.
