how far is daycare from your job?
Are you happy with distance from your job to daycare? I love one that is farther away (30 min) from work. The one that is 2 min away is not my fav and more money

how far is daycare from your job?
My daycare is 5 mins from my house and I work in the city.
SO it would take me 1.5 hrs to get there.

how far is daycare from your job?
I also work in the city and DD goes to daycare with DH out in Upton, so it would take me about 3 hrs+ to get there. The daycare is onsite at my DH's job though, so I'm comforted knowing he's right there.

how far is daycare from your job?
15 minutes from office and about 7 minutes from home. I'd rather her school be closer to home than my office for days I'm not in the office and need to drop her off.

how far is daycare from your job?
My daycare is 5 minutes from home. I work 3 days in Woodbury--so daycare is about 15 minutes away and then I work 2 days in the City--so daycare is an hour and a half away.
My DH works in Huntington and my dad lives in Wantagh, so I will always have people in the area just in case she needs to be picked up for any reason.

20 from job. 10 from house... its nice being close to house because less risk in bad weather... and nearby pediatrcian when they get booted

how far is daycare from your job?
My daycare is 20 mins from work and home...without traffic. I work in the Bronx and live in queens (daycare is in queens) so I never know what type of traffic ill hit on the bridge
Personally I would go with the one you love for now...after all they will be watching your child and you don't want to have doubts. If you see the commute gets too much switch

how far is daycare from your job?
Mine is across the street. I went back and forth for a while to closer to home or to my job decided job for several different reasons. I should say though if I picked one closer to my house I would still have to only drive 20-30 minutes to get there

This was me in NY
now I'm 15mins from home and her school is still only 5mins from my house. I always preferred closer to home so the ride was short. When she was small it was fear of accidents, traffic, stuck in a poopie diaper, tantrums etc that motivated me. As she got older it was the knowledge she was cared for and entertained until i got to her and then a quick trip home. Plus being closer to home meant we could go to the store or errands directly from school since most stuff is close enough and its not like its adding to the travel for her.

I live in Bellmore and work in Mineola. The daycare I use is in Merrick which is one my way to work and on my way home. It takes me 5 minutes to get there from home and 20 to 30 from work.

Its 2 min from my house and about 20 to 30 min to work. I actually like that its closer to home rather than work. I prefer to not have her in the car... less chance of an accident. I am paranoid like that.

It's 25 minutes from my office, but I'm on the road a lot at meetings so I could easily be at least an hour away from daycare. DH works 10-15 minutes from daycare so that helps if the kids get sick and need to be picked up right away.
