cupcakles/cake for party?
OK, so I'd think that cupcakes would be easier for the kids to eat...
But there are still a dozen kids who haven't rsvped,,,,
If I make cupcakes then I'd need to make enough for the kids - just in case - then for the parents too(which could be 2 per kid right?)..... I Have no clue how many I should be making then.
Do I just go with the cake then? or cupcakes and a cake that can be cut for the parents?

I'd do cake for everybody. IMO cupcakes are not easier for the kids to eat, I think they're harder.
ETA: maybe easier to handle, but I think harder to eat.

I do cake for parties and cupcakes to bring to school.
I think cake is easier for parties, bc you can cut smaller peices to make sure you have enough to go around.

One of the party places said they thought cupcakes eas ier....I guess maybe no cutting.... I just have no clue how many to make though... I kinda like the the idea of cupcakes for kids and cake for adults but at that point m as ybe just do one cake... looking at like 10 kids and who knows how many parents

I'm with you Em... I'm doing cupcakes for the kids but what do i do about the parents? So I decided to do a 1/4 sheet cake (small one) for adults and cup cakes for the kiddos.
I have 2 more weeks to plan that part of it.. (wow time flies) so we are looking over images and making calls this weekend to cake places. But the combo seems to be the best path.

I bought one cupcake for each person plus a few extra and the parents did not have any. We took home tons. Imo adults only eat cake really at regular parties in homes or restaurants. I feel like at kiddie places everything is so rushed and chaotic that parents just focus on helping their kids eat and not make a mess.
