How often does your BF 6 month old....
poop? Sorry if this is a weird question but DS was constipated last week and I could only get him to go with a suppository. I'm having difficulty feeding him solids (because he's refusing them) so I can't really give him prune juice, pears, etc. and he's not pooping.

My 5 month old girls poop once a day sometimes they can go 1-2 days without pooping. But I was able to give prune juice mixed with water to help. Is your LO drinking water? Maybe that will help, they do sell a little tummy's sena for constipation- I never used it but heard it was good

How often does your BF 6 month old....
My 5 month old BF baby, before solids, would sometimes go up to a week without a poop! I, like you, had to eventually give suppositories to help him because he was so uncomfortable. He took prune juice rarely, and only if I watered it down a lot. Now that he does some solids, he poops small amounts through out the day. So I feel your pain. Try really watered down prune juice if you can. Otherwise know that it will eventually get better.

BF babies can go up to a week without pooping. DS1 sometimes went at least 5 days without pooping. He wasn't uncomfortable though so I wasn't too worried.

DD poops alot...3-4x a day. She is bf and only has oatmeal so far.

How often does your BF 6 month old....
sometimes he pooped every other day. i was concerned at first, but the doctor asked if i pooped everyday (which i don't sorry for tmi!), which made me feel better. everyone is different. as long as they are going on a regular basis for them, then it should be ok.

How often does your BF 6 month old....
My 6 mo old is very inconsistent. Could be everyday, 2x/day, every 2-3 days. I think she gets uncomfortable at day 4 (which has only happened once or twice).
