Breast milk, formula and thrush...a few questions...

1. Anyone have thrush with their lo while breast feeding? If so, did you throw out your frozen supply of milk or still give it to them? I'm worried about her getting it again/not getting rid of it but also don't want to throw out 75+ oz of milk for no reason. We currently both have it and are on meds.

2. if we do have to throw out the supply ill need to give her formula tonight as I'm going out...how many ounces do i give? Is it the same as breast milk; I've heard formula is more filling so i don't want to overfeed her.Dd is 5 weeks and currently takes 4.5 - 5 oz of breast milk at a time...how much formula would you give?

1) They can not get thrush from your milk. My LC had me pumping and feeding/freezing when I had it.

2) Based on my answer to #1 you should give her your milk.

We thought dd had it and they gave her meds and for me a cream to put on nipple some in between. Feeding so if I had it and was giving it back to her.
