chamomile tea for gas
My ped said this also helps for gas and we could give to our 5 week old. But I didn't really ask how much to give or if there was any specific way to make it.
Has anyone done this before? How many oz did you give your LO and did you dilute the tea at all?

We tried it but my response is not helpful at all because DS took one sip and refused the bottle all together.

I gave it to her once and she started drinking it no problem. But I didn't give a lot because I wasn't sure I made it right or how much to give. I only gave her .5oz

I didn't try it but I remember my ped suggesting giving about 1 oz to see if it helps. She didn't mention anything about dliuting it. GL!

My ped said 1oz max at a time, 1-2 times per day.
Just boil water and make the tea, then let it cool for baby. I actually just made it, then put it in a pitcher in the fridge to use as was needed.

1oz. is what I used to give DS when he was gassy.
Not sure if you have any italian deli's near you but I buy the brand Mellin which makes a chamomile powder for babies/kids - you add it to the hot water, it has a tiny bit of sweetness to it so they like it and the package tells you exactly how much water per powder package.

My ped said anywhere between 2-3oz. I use decaf tea made it regular likeyou make tea in like an 8 oz cup and then put 2-3 oz in a bottle for her. Put a small amount of brown sugar in and then put it in fridge to cool off. Serve room temp.

I put about an 1oz in with her bottle and she drank it right down. I didn't really dilute it.

I have her an ounce after her bath. Followed by a bottle. I think it ran right through her because shortly after she had super watery poop.

i used to give DS 1oz and he actually enjoyed it and it did help with the gas. Now he is 15 months and we give him some in his sippy cup just because he likes it, and it is good for him too!
