I go to the adoptions site. Where's the album?
Ok i see the album. I havent used that site, as i say i have gone directly to the nycacc adoptions page. So i guess they arent showing up on the acc page for some reason
Edited again to say: found this interesting. Says not all dogs are listed on the nycacc site! Motherf********!

yes all dogs aren't listed on their site! they su ck!
the dogs that get put on the to be destroyed list are removed from the website which is absurd because even though they are on the list-they are still adoptable! this is yet another problem that exists with the NY shelter system---they are sneaky and disgusting--they rather kill the animals then keeping them on their website til the last minute! it's a disgrace! it's too much work for them.
the only way you will see these dogs is through the facebook page urgent part 2-urgent death row dogs! that's why that Facebook page was created!
they also rate most dogs so that only rescues can pull them (called New Hope rescues)--thus making it harder for the public to adopt. this takes responsibility away from the shelter-they pretty much dump it on the non for profit rescues--thank God for these rescues--they save so many and the shelter actually takes credit for it too! a very twisted shelter system in NYC!

it's been an ongoing battle!
some things that Ive done:
Manhattan Borough pres. scott stringer wrote a report on the disgusting conditions-so writing to him to say you support what he did would be great---like his Facebook page as well to keep in the loop!
you can donate to urgent part 2-urgent death row dogs advertising campaign--they are trying to raise money to post billboards --i will add the link to the campaign when i can!
Write to bloomberg and cuomo about the terrible conditions and how there needs to be reform
like and share that urgent Facebook page--they post the list (that i post here) every night--share the dogs with your friends---try to help spread the word
donate to the rescues that pull so that they have funds to continue to do so
become a foster parent for a rescue this way they can pull more dogs/cats off death row
the shelter system is run by the Dept of Health (who knows why-doesn't make sense!) they hold a monthly board meeting where they discuss the shelters--it is open to the public
the more people that know about how their tax payer dollars are being spent to kill these dogs--the better---so sharing is huge~sometimes i wish i could do more--i really try my best! :)

row 2 dog 1 was a family dog and its owners lost their home and had to give dog up-:( believe it's a female
last row dog 3--owner abandoned in building now on death row-people suck!
row 4-dog 1 safe not sure about dog 2 dog3 & 4 safe
