Need a variety of carseat recommendations please
I feel overwhelmed choosing all these carseats. Please tell me some good carseat models for:
My car (the best carseat will go here) My husbands car ( a little cheaper) Grandparents (safe but cheaper.. I need 2)
DS is 5 months but getting close to 30 inches which is my carseat limit.
TIA

I have the britax marathon in both cars and love it. They are pricey but worth it in my opinion. my parents have the graco my ride and like it except it's huge .

I have an evenflo in 3 cars and love it. IMO Britax is nip worth 300+ when there are other seats that just as good.

In no particular order: Britax Marthon/Boulevard, Diono Radian, Graco MyRide/Mysize 70/Size4Me, Evenflo Triupmph 65/Symphony 65, Cosco Scenera/Apt , Safety 1st Guide 65, First Years/Learning Curve True Fit
I suggest you deal with one vehicle at a time, starting with yours. Go play with them, see how they work and get the one that fits your vehicle, budget and child the best that you think will be used the right way every time
Grandparents cars I usually recomend the Scenera since it's only $40 at Walmart and it is relatively easy to use, but no frills at all. Can be a learning curve for install but if they're not taking it in and out then use itself is pretty easy.

Re: Need a variety of carseat recommendations please
I have the Britax Marathon. I got it on sale for $100. My next choice after that was the Graco My Ride..but it wound up being more expensive than the Britax.
Also, I have to say in terms of the Britax, I really do love it. Here is why: It has the rear facing top tether that secures to the frame of your car. At the time I bought it, there wasn't another seat that had that added safety feature.
I would do what a previous poster said, shop for your car first then maybe DH's, the your grandparents.

We have the britax blvd in our car and the graco my ride in the ILs. They are equally as nice imo and the my ride is half the price.

I have an Evenflo Symphony 65 and have no complaints about it at all. It has easy to adjust straps (no rethreading necessary, and it's easy to loosen/tighten as well) It can remain rear facing up to 40 pounds, forward facing with harnesses up to 65 pounds, and then is a highback belt positioning booster up to 100 pounds. It has an adjustable head rest so even taller children will fit in the sear for a long time. The LATCH system is super easy to connect to the car. The directions are clear and consice as well. Also, while most seats expire after 4-5 years this seat doesn't until 8 years after manufacture date, so it will most likely be the only seat you will need (weight starts at 5 pounds to technically it can be used from birth)
