If you have a High Deductible Healthcare Plan ...
Would you mind sharing how much you contribute to the plan itself and how much you and / or your employer contributes to a HSA or a Flex Savings?
Feel free to FM if that's easier. Thanks!

we HAD one up until 12/31/12.
it was 10,000 dollars. we did not pay to the premium. my husbands firm did.
my son got hurt and I got pregnant all in the same year though. you'd be surprised how painful 10k in medical bills are when the piper comes a-calling.
we just switched to my plan at work. an HMO. we are putting in 4k in premiums, no DD, standard copays.
still better than 10k

I had one until 12/31. I paid about $80 every 2 weeks (employer paid the rest).
My deductible was $2000. My plan had $750 of that covered. I usually put about $650 in the account

Re: If you have a High Deductible Healthcare Plan ...
We've been maxing out our contributions to the HSA and the company contributes $1,000. Premium is less than $200/month for DH and me.
Deductible is $2,500. In-network coinsurance is 15%. In-network out-of-pocket max is something like $6,000.
This is from DH's company. I'm thankful that we have such a good option.

Re: If you have a High Deductible Healthcare Plan ...
We have a high deductible family plan through my husbands employer. We pay $154 a week for the plan We split 50/50 with company. We have a $2,000 deductible per person. But My husbands company will pay the 3000 once we pay 3000. And I should mention we live in Maryland.

Re: If you have a High Deductible Healthcare Plan ...
we have a high deductible HSA. OUr deductible is $3000 for family (1500 single);
DH contributes $100 a paycheck to the HSA account; his compay contributes 40% of the deductible (so thats $1200); its paid quarterly to the HSA account directly.
we are also responsible for 10% out of pocket over the deductible until we hit the $6000 out of pocket maximum.
totally blows. but DH works for a small company and their former HMO plan would have cost us $1000 a month in premiums for all 3 of us to be covered.
