Just want to put out there that I have white, round tablecloths for sale that I had to purchase for my son's Christening at the community room in our complex. It was actually a bit cheaper to buy them than to rent them! FM me, if interested, to see if they're still available.

No reviews to give yet, but we are having DD's christening at HR Singelton's in Bethpage. It's really borderline Levittown. It is $30 per person and we will be runnning a tab for the liquor. They have several different rooms, the one we are getting accommodates up to 75 people.

This is good to know! We're going to look there for DD's Christening. I had my bridal shower there and loved it!

Bentley's Off bell - New place---upstairs room. Fits about 100. Packages start at $35pp---plus $15 extra per person for beer & wine

We are having ours at the Waterview Club in Bayville at the end of the month. Great price including beer, wine, and centerpieces. We are even getting a lunge area....Beautiful place!! OMG! We even had a food tasting and the price was cheaper than most restaurants! One even at a time! Beautiful water view (right on the shore) and staff has been excellent so far. Johnattan (who has been helping us) has been a dream!! Will let you know how it goes!

DS1 (2007) - Douglaston Manor $35/person. We brought in centerpieces and decorations like balloon arch, etc.
DS2 (2011). - Hofstra University Club $26/person. Luncheon. We added a seafood dish and that was additional $3/person. Kids 4-12, half price. Food was excellent, service was great. We had the reception in the main dining room. We brought in the centerpieces and cake, and hired a magician. Sound system was available, you can use their LCD projector, etc etc. Ample parking.
DD (May 2012) booked Hofstra University Club again, this time we'll be downstairs. Luckily, no price increase.

Blue Lagoon in West Babylon - $25 pp
We had DDs baptism and my baby shower there. People raved about the food and they're great to work with.

We had ours at Trattoria 35 on Bell (used to be Ginos's) in the upstairs room. 60pp but we got the top package (DH had to have steak ). Great service. Loved the place.
I have also to been to Donovan's on Bell (nice party room) and pretty reasonable packages. They just redid it recently and it came out great.
My friend had hers at Il Bacco in Little Neck. Really nice! They just renovated it. No idea about the packages but I know they book fast.

Jackie Riellys in Bethpage. $27pp including open bar and buffet. People raved about the food. Cake isn't included. Very reasonable.

We are having DS's christening at Angelina's in Williston Park. I think it's like $35 pp which includes pasta, salad, choice of veal, chicken or fish, dessert, coffee, tea and unlimited wine and red wine for the tables.

We had DD's party at the Bellport Country Club. We had a buffet and ran a bar tab. Everything was great. I don't remember how much we paid per person, but it was pretty reasonable.
