Re: Kid Camera Recommendations please
I did a lot of research on this and found that the Vtech kidizoom had the best reviews. My son loves it. Got it for Christmas last year (he is 3 now)

Kid Camera Recommendations please
We have the Fisher Price kid tough one. DS uses it occasionally but, it's not one of his favorite toys. He'd rather play with one of our old regular cameras.

Re: Kid Camera Recommendations please
I just bought the vtech orange one for my nephew. My sister did the research and found that this one was compatible with MAC computers. The fisher price one is not. It gets good reviews on amazon.

Re: Kid Camera Recommendations please
I hve the Vtech one and it is great. They love them. The only criticism I have is its sort of hard to switch between functions. You have to use the arrows, mode and OK buttons and my kids seem to get sort of confused by that. They are starting to figure it out now that they have had it for a few weeks

Re: Kid Camera Recommendations please
We got the Fisher Price See Yourself Kid Tough camera for DS a couple years ago. It is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You cannot break this thing. He can use it completely independently. We could actually print pictures, but we do so very very rarely.
We looked into vtech or something a little cheaper than the FP one for DD for this christmas. In the end, we got her the same one - the FP See Yourself Kid Tough. It is so great!
HTH.

Re: Kid Camera Recommendations please
My 3 y/o uses on of my old digital camera's. He loves taking pictures with it. It is small with a big screen and you can get a decent one for less then $50... It takes great pictures and he figured out how to use it when he was about 2.5 y/o... He played with a fisher price one and did not like it. He has dropped the camera a few times, but it has never broken... I showed him how to use the wrist strap..
