We used Marina One in E. Northport. Aside from having a huge selection and very friendly service, they have a "gaurantee" - if you don't like the carpeting after its installed, they will take it out and replace it, for just the cost of installation of the new carpet. I wound up using this for the carpeting on our stairs and upstairs hallway - I loved the carpet but wound up hating the color (looked totally different in the store compared to in our house), so I was able to get it in a new color without having to pay for new carpeting. I was so happy that I didn't have to live with carpet that I hated.

we used Jim Flack twice...and had good experiences both times!!
We also used Carpet Depot once, and we weren't fans, and wouldn't use them again!

We actually carpeted our den from Home Depot.
It was fantastic!
Inexpensive for great carpet.
Great installation and customer service.

I used the all carpet in Seaford.
I would stay away.. far away from empire. All carpet did an excellent job and was able to beat Empire.. with an extra room that Empire didn't have in the estimate.

We are using G. Fried in Westbury on Old Country Road.
LOVE these guys! They're fantastic. We recently had a minor flood in our bedroom & went back to them for carpet.
We had a HORRIBLE experience with Empire & never ended up going with them.
We also went to Home Depot for one room & they were good also.
