Why are people so shocked
My mother is throwing me a baby shower for baby#2. I tell people and they always look shocked or say why don't you have stuff? It will be 5 1/2 years since dd. I didn't save anything cause at the time there was no plan for #2. What is so shocking about this?

Why are people so shocked
I don't think it's shocking at all and those people should just be quite. IMHO why can't each baby be celebrated? Why do some people think only for DC#1?

LOL nothing at all - ppl are rediculous sometimes. I'm probably having something and was asked the same thing... Lets see my son will be 7 next month and now i'm having a GIRL! And we also were not planning on having another. maybe they are just jealous

Why are people so shocked
Why is having a baby shower always about getting "stuff" anyway?? Does everyone feel that way? I always think a baby shower is to celebrate the exciting baby on the way!
