Maternity Clothes shopping
Where did you find reasonably priced Maternity clothes? I want to go to Roosevelt Fields this weekend. I went to the Old Navy in the source mall; but they didn’t really have much of a selection (at least 4 weeks ago). Does Macy’s have a Maternity Dept? Any luck finding deals and using coupons? I can also check Destination Maternity outside the mall.
Anywhere else nearby to look at?
I really want to keep my spending to about $100 this first trip; and will need 2 pants for work; some tops for work; casual tops for the weekend; and at least 1 pair of jeans. Is this budget realisitc?

i bought a bunch of things at kohls with their 30% off coupons and some kohls cash so it came out pretty affordable. they don't have a huge selection though, but it was fine for me.
i also went to destination maternity when they were having a sale.
i spent about about $300 on clothes and don't expect to need too much more. For a first, run $100 might be ok, though probably not if you need 3 pairs of pants/jeans.

Re: Maternity Clothes shopping
Thanks!!!
I got an e-mail earlier in the week about a Desination Maternity sale...I'll check and see if it's going on this weekend still. I feel so in between sizes; i'd like to try some things on first before I start ordering online and then have to return.

Re: Maternity Clothes shopping
Some Macys have a motherhood, destination maternity and pea in the pod. They do not take coupons or gift cards from motherhood, etc since its a macys store.
I got a lot of my clothes from GAP maternity, ON, motherhood, and khols
for GAP and ON their online selection is much better you do not have to return by mail, i've returned everything to a store (even if they don't carry maternity) i never had a problem. GAP and ON always have sales and coupons.

I got a lot from Desitation Maternity and Motherhood. They have awesome online sales and the stores are pretty good too. I got a couple of maxi dresses from Target that I love.

I was going to suggest JCP also. Reasonably priced, but I don't like a lot of their stuff. Just personal taste. 2 years ago I got a TON at ON but it seems like I like their stuff less now than I did back then. I usually shop clearance racks at Motherhood Maternity. Some Macy's stores have Motherhood in the store. Kohl's is ok too, but usually the selection is so small it's very hit or miss. Target seems to have a lot. I know, I'm saying nothing new... sorry!
As far as maternity clothes on a budget, have you asked friends or checked on Craig's List even? Used maternity clothing is a great way to go to save your pocket a bit!

i bought a few shirts for work and yoga pants thru Motherhood maternity online, there was a sale someone on here posted about buy one get one free. I bought 2 pairs of slacks from the Macys divison but they dont take any of the Macys coupons i had so i didnt get as good of a deal as shopping online.
i also bought a pair of jeans from Burlington and they fit great and less than $25!

Re: Maternity Clothes shopping
Kohls and Old Navy are both good for cheaper maternity clothes, especially if you have a coupon for Kohls. But each stores selection is hit or miss.
Not all Macys have a maternity section. If they do, check next to the children's dept. You can't use any Macys coupons on the maternity stuff though.
You could get some good finds on clearance rack at Motherhood.
Destination Maternity on 110 isn't bad, but it has a mix of Motherhood and Pea in the Pod (more expensive), so you have to be careful which part of the store you shop in. The salespeople hover over you when you first walk in, and I sometimes felt pressure to buy.
Finding all that you need for $100 will be tough. For quantity check Old Navy and Kohls online (with coupons for Kohls preferably).
ETA: If I recall correctly, Destination Maternity has something like a 30 day return policy, so be careful what you buy unless you plan on heading back there relatively soon. I used to get buyers-remorse after I looked at my receipt and have to go back to return stuff ASAP.
