Shower ques- buffet v. sit down meal
Im doing a brunch for my shower at an italian restaurant and we have the option for buffet v. served meals. Im leaning towards buffet because than you have more options (plus you can go back for more!) Does anyone feel strongly one way or another? Tia

Shower ques- buffet v. sit down meal
Personally, I loooooove a buffet, and so does my family. Our wedding was a buffet! For brunch, I think a buffet is great! Especially if you can find a way for the buffet to stay open during the present-opening. Otherwise, my suggestion is to split present-opening up and do dessert/cake in the middle rather than after 2+ hours of watching present opening. It can get tedious to watch while sitting at a table in a restaurant and the sugar helps.

I like the buffet idea, especially for brunch since some people might be more in the mood for breakfast foods and others might want lunch type foods, so they could choose what they like. Also it gives guests a chance to get up and mingle a bit with other guests while they're getting they're food.

Buffet. Since your guests are kind of trapped in their seats while you open presents, this gives everyone a chance to get up and interact.

Had my shower yesterday and it was a buffet. I swear my family went back 3-4 times.lol
Every shower Ive been to has been a buffet. I love me a good buffet
