What do you think...
About the name - Skylar Marie? 
My MIL keeps saying Skylee and it's driving me nuts!!! 
Is this name that difficult to remember?

I think its a really cute name. I like it because its different, but not too different that its weird (if that makes any sense). I'm sure your MIL will catch on very quickly.

Thanks guys - it also has personal meaning to both myself and DH and we chose this name b4 i was even expecting..
If MIL doesn't get it - I'll just change her name (MIL'S) while i'm at it and see if she likes it

Beautiful name! I've known both girls and guys named Skylar (both called Sky as a nickname, actually) and it's just lovely! My best friend's cat is also Skylar.  Sounds great with Marie too!
