arghhhh middle names.
we had the girls name before we even got pregnant... Savannah........
Yet we can't decide on a middle name......
I love Rose and Grace but dh thinks they are old names (even though they've come back into circulation.....
I came up with Riley which I thought was cute because its Irish, but dh won't commit to a name because I threw so many names at him....
It was so easy with ds we just used his dads name, but I don't want to pick a middle name for anyone in my family(or his even) for dd.

I was set on the middle name Rose too but my husband also said it was "too old"...so he suggested Rae...so I think thats what were going with

For middle names I think Rose and Grace are pretty timeless and classic. I also liked Mae but DH didn't like that at all.

I just had to say that I LOVE the name Rose! My niece is 12 and that's her first name. It was a little hard to get used to at first, but I now think it is so cute. We call her Rosey. If I didn't have a niece with the name, it would have been in the running for names with us! For middle names, I think it's cute to have a name like rose or grace... I feel like Savannah is kinda long, so i think it goes great with shorter middle names. those two sound SO pretty with Savannah! GL

Love the name Savannah!!! Since it is a longer name I would stick with the shorter middle names. I really like Savannah Grace or Savannah Rae.

Savannah Grace is such a beautiful name!! I hope your DH comes around on that one! I just love the name Savannah. If we were having a girl it would be one of my top choices.

I don't think middle names matter that much, but it may be because I really dislike mine! They're rarely used, unless it rolls really nicely.
DD is Megan Rose and a lot of my ILs family call her "Megan Rose" instead of just Megan because it rolls really well. (Rose is for my MIL Rosy and my grandmother Ruth -- my MIL was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor the month I got pregnant... she's now cancer free two years later!!!)
I know you said you don't want to name for anyone in your family, but I think it's such a beautiful thing to do! Especially if you can't agree on a name and are just throwing out names haphazardly.
My father and uncle don't even have middle names!
Savannah is a beautiful name and you can't really go wrong, whatever you choose. See if maybe your husband comes up with a name he loves. Or make them cool initials or something.

there isnt anyone id want to name them after....its not that theres a person that I just dont like their name...
before dd I had considered a female version of my uncle who past away but when I found out he cheated for years its not something I care to do anymore

i love the name savannah!! rose and grace are incredibly popular middle name choices, not that that really matters. but personally i like savannah rae the best!
