morning/all day sickness
It started today. I spent the whole day holding myself back from puking. As soon as I got home I had no choice but to give in.... i was bad
I actually feel better now that I let it out. Is that normally how it works? Does it come right back?
Any other advice for MS ALL DAY??!

Get as much sleep as you possibly can. When I got good rest I felt great. Also keep peppermints with you at all times.

I think its different for everyone. I only threw up twice but I wish I had more (gross, I know but it did make me feel better). Try eating small meals and snacks every hour or so. Whenever I let myself go to long w/o eating it was the worst!!

Re: morning/all day sickness
It's funny, I never get 'morning sickness" I get afternoon and night sickness. I don't understand why but I do lol
I agree with not going too long w/o eating bc that just makes it 10x worse for me. Ginger ale and salty foods help me alot
I also got the organic preggie pops from BBB, and they work really well

Re: morning/all day sickness
eat something small, high in protein first thing in the am! that really helped me. I had it for a few days around 6-7 weeks but then it was gone!!
small, frequent meals!

Re: morning/all day sickness
I was sick all the time. DO yourself a favor and ask the Dr for Zofran. THat way you can take it on the really bad days.
I hated taking anything but had to get on the train everyday so I had no choice. I made me feel like a new person and it is safe.

Re: morning/all day sickness
With my pregnancy I was sick all day everyday. I could not function. I lost to much weight. I was taking 8mg of Zofran and it was doing nothing. I had to multiple times get IV hydration overnight in the hospital since I could not keep fluid in. Eventually I got a Reglan Pump. This was my saving grace. I still got sick a few times a day. but much better then non-stop. The only things that helped a little and I mean very little was peppermint, lemonade and pear juice. The homehealth care nurse that came to check my pump said pear juice and lemonade are most of her pts favorites. I was not a fan of either but since it was one of the few things I can keep in I drank it all the time.

Re: morning/all day sickness
I have the same thing...all day sickness. I dry heave like nobody's business in the morning but I am nauseous all day long. I just eat a tiny bit at a time and sip water throughout the day. I had the same thing when I was pg with DS and DD. Nothing has really helped settle my stomach though. I suck on ginger candies and sometimes even drink ginger ale.
