would you have a sprinkle if pg with twins
im not a fan of second showers or sprinkles and wasnt even considering one. i am only 3 months pregnant with twins and my other child will be 2 1/2 when they are born. everyone keeps telling me i should have one since i have to buy more stuff since its twins. now im wondering since so many family/friends are saying i should have one maybe i should consider a small sprinkle? i just hate the thought of everyone buying another gift, but they keep saying they want to help.
any thoughts?

I think it would be a good idea, especially since family is encouraging one. Most people want to celebrate babies! I was actually just surprised with a shower for my third! We did find out it will be a girl, and I already have two boys. The youngest will be four when she is born. We recently moved away from our immediate families and all of my husbands extended family (cousins) threw me a party! I was and still am elated with the fact that they did it! I say go for it!

Definitely!! Especially since you will need DOUBLE of everything now. And I find people like to get together to celebrate the new baby even if it's your 3! Twins are so exciting! Celebrate them

I actually would not because I think my family and DH's family would disagree with it but I think it's on a case by case basis. If your family encourages it then I don't see why it would be a problem.

I did. it was not only twins but different gender and I was not prepared for them.
My family gave me one.

I am not a fan of second showers either. But in this case, it's not the same thing at all. Even if you reuse all of the stuff from your first DC, you still won't have enough of a lot of items. So go for it and don't feel bad or uncomfortable at all!

the only reason why I would say yes is because your family is encouraging it. but i don't agree with second showers or sprinkles whether it's twins or not, same gender or different.

I got one for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Didn't want one for the last two but my family did anyway. Some things you really have no control in. If they want to do something for you, they will find a way. I say let them do it. It helps a lot with all the expenses.
