Spotting
I am just at 6 weeks and yesterday for the the first time I had some spotting. It was only when I went to the bathroom and happened to notice it on the toilet paper but then saw nothing else for the rest of the day. Then today at pretty much the exact same time the same thing happened, barely there and just on the toilet paper (ever since yesterday I have been checking bc obviously I'm worried now). It was barely there but pinkish-brown in color (sorry TMI) I don't have any cramping at all and feel fine. Would you call your doctor for this or just wait it out and see if it gets worse?

Re: Spotting
I personally call my doc for everything but what you describe is very common and probably not a cause for concern. Id call, just for peace of mind!

Spotting
I called and left a message with the answering service. We'll see what she says when she calls me back... the only issue is she's in the city and I am not... I really love her and have been reluctant to find someone closer to home but I'm guessing maybe it's time...

Re: Spotting
This was what I had at about 7.5 weeks and it was due to placenta previa. I spotted lightly on and off for a week then it stopped. Definitely call the dr. They will most likely tell you to go to the er. I went at 4pm on a Sunday and ended up having to go back to my dr on Monday but at least I got a sono and it gave me piece of mind.

Re: Spotting
See your doctor - They may want to do a sono just to make sure everything is ok.
Spotting early on can be very normal - I had it too, actually was really heavy the one night and I thought the worst. But now, 7 weeks later, baby is measuring perfectly fine.
Did you recently have sex? that can cause some spotting. I also had some after DH and I went on a long bike ride once.
My doctor said (after the sono) to just take it easy, kind of modified bed rest for a few days.
Sorry you are going through this, I know its scary.

Spotting
I actually had spotting last night, too. No cramps at all. It stopped last night/this morning. I'm 7 weeks today and just saw the hb on Thursday.
I called my RE today and they weren't concerned at all. They said it's very common in early pregnancy. As long as you don't have cramps, you're probably fine, but you might want to call your dr for peace of mind. Mine told me to just take it easy today and drink tons of water.
Have you had a sono yet to make sure the baby is implanted in the right place?

I spoke with my Doctor last night I was surpised she called that late at night! But she said the same thing, that she wasn't concerned based on what I was describing especially since it was so minimal and I have had zero cramping. And then told me to just take it easy, stay out of the heat and stay hydrated.
No sono yet, I am only just at 6 weeks and my first appointment isn't until 7/5.

Spotting
At 6+6 I had some spotting and was really nervous. It was brownish but totally freaked me out. My OB had me come in for a sono and my husband and I got to see our baby's HB for the first time. She told me that it could actually be left over implantation bleeding, which I thought was odd because I hadn't had any implantation bleeding in the earlier weeks... But she said it can sometimes just take a while to come out. Anyway, I'm now 30+2 with a beautiful little boy so I've learned that spotting very early on is so common. Good luck!!!
