Does anyone want a lot of kids?
Like 3,4 or 5 kids? i feel like 3 kids these days is a large family. Im expecting my 4th and im apprehensive to tell people b/c im anticipating a reaction like "wow- 4 kids, your nuts" type of thing.
I was never set on how many kids i was going to have, im just lucky enough to have it turn out this way.
Does anyone else want a large family?

I've successfully lobbied for 3. (This is #2). If we started younger and had a lot more money, I'd have a bunch. I was one of four and loved it!

this is DH and my first kid. so far we have said we only want one but thats because we're first time parents and know its hard and expensive to raise a child. So our minds could change

I've always wanted 3 kids, but this pregnancy changed my mind. I may end up changing my mind in a few years still on the fence.

We have 3 and if money were not an issue I would have happily gone for #4.
DH wanted to stop at 3 regardless though.

if $$$ didn't play a factor, sure! but it will be 2 for us. we'd like to live a comfortable life and having more than two will prevent that.

i would LOVE to have a huge family, 5+. Its just not a reality for us. The major factor is $$$ there is no way we could live a nice life style (comfy home, vacations, savings, kids activities, etc) and have that many kids.  at least not on LI.
Another factor is age, we are expecting our 1st next month and we are both 35. I couldnt imagine having 5 really close pregnancies.
We are  that we are going to be blessed w/ 3 DC. I would be over the moon if that is what happens.

We always said 2, but if the second is a girl as well, i am sure DH is gonna wanna go for a third in hopes for a boy

First of all, Congratulations! I would love a big family - 3 or 4 children. I am pregnant with my first and will be 35 two days before my due date (August) and my husband is 34, as well. I often wonder how realistic it is for us to have more than 2.

I really hope to have at least 3. I'd even possibly go for 4 (maybe 5) but I know DH would never be on board unless it were an oops.

We always said we would have 2 or 3. After DD I wanted a million! 
But now that we are on #2 I think this might be it. It's not easy being pg with one kid, I can't imagine doing it with 2. And I don't think we can financially swing a 3rd.

I always imagined having at least two and maybe even three children. But then I am really not liking the whole pregnancy thing and I am not sure if I can ever do this again honestly. I'm sorry if that sounds terrible but this has been so stressful for me. So, I am struggling with the idea of maybe only having one. Also, financially, I am not sure if we will be able to afford 2 or more children. So I guess two is still an option but not as likely as I once thought it was. If money was not a concern, and being pregnant wasn't a factor, I would have 10 kids if I could! I love children and would love to have a large family.

DH wants as many as we can afford without going broke
We originally had thought 2 when we got married, but after having DS have decided we want 3.........If we won the lotto/inherited money I think I'd go upto 4.

I am right there with you. I know for a fact that I am done after and will only have one child and am okay with that. I do not enjoy pregnancy one bit and will be fine with one child however to eaches own I think it's a personal preference:)

We both would like 3, but after having my DS (my first) I would be 100% content with only having one child. But I definitly would love one more, I want to give my son a sibling, since I am an only child and it can be hard sometimes.

I'm in the same boat as you. I currently have 3 kids and we're expecting #4, and yes you still do get the reaction of 4 really??? But who's business is it of theirs anyways. I have a friend with 5 who jokingly asks me about joining the crazy train with her. I love my 3 kids and can't wait to add this little bean to the mix!
I think with 4 we are done. We're out of space!! If we won the lotto and/or I didn't have to work, I would certainly have another!!
