What to do about swelling?
I HAVE CANKLES .. ITS TERRIBLE! My sandals get too tight by the end of the day to wear so Ive been wearing flip flops and sneakers. I keep my feet up all day at work (I have boxes under my desk) and I drink a TON of water .. anything else I can do?

My dr told me, a box under my desk wasn't enough (for me).
She said to cut out/down on salty foods.
10-12 glasses of water/day.
Be aware of processed/canned/packaged foods due to sodium.
At the end of the day, put your feet up! Preferably w/ feet above the heart - this is the proper way to "put your feet up" for swelling.
Good Luck!!! I'm suffering too and it's not fun

yesterday was bad. even my flip flops made impressions in my feet. yikes! it's going to be a long summer.....

My husband wet dish towels and put them in the freezer for about 15 minutes and then wrapped my feet and ankles in them while elevated. Took the swelling right down.

reduce salt, increase fluids. walk every 30 mins or so
