What questions to ask at your first u/s
Hey girls, so my first u/s appt is coming up. I am not even sure what questions do I need to ask. Is there a list of the questions that need to be asked. If anyone can repost please. Thank you!

I always feel like when the dr says do you have any questions, that I *should* have 1 or 2 but most of the time I do not.
They usually have their somewhat standard speech and I know at least my dr always seems to cover everything. ie food to avoid, what to do, what not to do, info about baby etc. My dr is also quite lax though which makes me the same way.

Hey girl - Dr Porte is very thorough and will probably answer any questions you may have (in your head) before you even ask them - LOL

Exercise allowed? I also showed him my prenatals to make sure they were sufficient.

I went over my symptoms to make sure everything was normal. I asked about what I could/couldn't eat, I asked about anything that may be off limits.

My OB actually covered all the questions I had when she was talking. She mentioned restrictions on food/medicine/exercise( none); we discussed my symptoms; how to deal with MS and the options I had if it was severe.
The ONLY question I asked was about perming my hair (she said to wait until after the 1st trimester); and clarification about eating at salad bars; and info on helping with constipation.

thanks girlie. im scheduled with dr. o'keiffe for my first appt. but for the next I deff wanna ask for dr. pporte. because he's the one i have always been going to. btw what do they do over there at your first appt? do they take a blood test in the office or send you to another lab?
