Can anyone recommend...
a baby bag that doesn't scream diaper bag? I have been searching for so long and I don't really see anything that I love. I would like something that functions as my purse, as well.
Anyone buy one that they love?

vera bradley pleated tote 
and i use a large cosmetic bag to hold all diapers, wipes, creams, changing pad. fits right in the bag.

So funny you both said Vera Bradley! I saw one on-line that I loved. It was a solid navy color, but it looks like they sold out!!
Maymama, I'll check out the tote.

I love my vera bradleys! I have a diaper bag in Imperial Toile (was a gift and it's a discontinued color now) but I just got myself a GIANT bag I think it's called the Grand Tote or something? It has two waterproof pockets, outside pockets, inside pockets, and a zipper across the top. I got it in Lime's Up.
Speaking of up, DD just woke up and is standing in her crib...
Anyway, the Hallmark stores near me carry the vera bradley items so you can see them in person and check out all the patterns. I think they're great!
I also have a matching purse and wallet... because I like to matchy-match.

My friend has this SkipHop bag in black and I'm getting it in green. Under $100
I got a Kate Spade Stevie for my friend that looks like a purse but has a strap so it can hang over the handlebars too, and comes w/changing pad. ~$250 and you can find them at Tanger too.

Vera Bradley makes two different diaper bags. (I'm sure you can use any of their bags, but there were 2 actual diaper bags). I went to the Lake Grove mall store location and they had every style and color there and they will sit there and show you all the choices. There was a heavier, solid colored bag (in black and blue i think) that looked more like a big purse. Then there was there signature style, softer with the bright colored patchwork type patterns... I chose one of those but I did like the other bag in black too but it was heavier and would have been harder to throw in the washing machine. Plus the one i got comes with a nice travel changing pad that matches the pattern of your bag and i love the bag already!
