FB announcements?
How did you/will you do it? My "come out" for DD was pretty great, but I'm out of ideas for this one. Any thoughts?

That's what my sister did for her 2nd baby. She put her DD in a shirt that said "I'm going to be a big sister".
We're leaving for a big vacation on Thursday, so I might post something about it officially being a baby-moon.

I was goign to "announce" when we found out the gender. But then we were going Team Green, so I just posted at 20 wks:
"Today marks the half way point. Happy to share that in ~20 weeks Troy will be a Big Brother  "

i posted one of the baby-gaga week tracker thingies on April Fools Day thinking ppl would think i was joking [since there were like 15 status updates from my friends pretending to be pregnant] ... that didn't work out, EVERYONE believed me 
how did you come out for DD?
Maybe you can just upload a pic of her in a Big Sister outfit and see who catches on?

I changed my profile pic to one of DH and I at a wedding. The caption read: Bridesmaid gown: $200. New suit: $180. Digital camera: $140. Telling all of FB that there's really THREE people in this picture: Priceless!!

we told DS that he is going to be a big brother at 13 weeks and video taped his reaction, i 'came out' on FB by sharing that video!

I think you saw mine -- I just posted a pic of DD in her "big sister" shirt.
When we confirmed the gender, I posted that and a lot of people who hadn't seen or noticed our first announcement saw it then. I got over 100 likes and responses each time, which I thought was incredible!
I remember when you announced last time. I'm so excited for you!!!

I didn't wanna just go on and make some status update or post a pic, so I did that baby gaga thing. I didn't realize it was gonna do it weekly though so since then I erased it lol

I'm thinking of doing an LOL cats since right now I just have my fur baby....but I can't think of a funny tag line yet.
Maybe something like "well I hope they don't expect me to share my tuna" with him in a silly pose.
We'll see, I'm the worst at secrets and we already spilled the beans to a bunch of close friends.

I just announced today.
Posted a sono pic and wrote baby GIRL!!! Coming this fall. (we have 2 boys so  is big news around here.

I totally wanted to do something like this too. We are obsessed with our cat (as you can probably tell from my pic - she was a sailor last halloween). I really wanted to get her a "I'm the big sister" shirt, but DH didn't want to wait any longer after my last appt, so he just posted our sono to FB. He did photoshop sunglasses on the pic though, we already have the coolest kid around

I announced today, and said how I was going to be extra grateful this Thanksgiving b/c Baby M2 is due 11/29! DH and I posted a pic of DD in her "Big Sister" shirt (which is how we told our families).
