how often did you feel the baby move
at 23 weeks? I haven't felt the baby move at all today and it's concerning me. I tried a caffeinated beverage, chocolate and poking it as a last resort. I also have a pretty bad headache, not sure if it's related to this or not.

Re: how often did you feel the baby move
I am 22 weeks 3 days and I feel the baby move a few times a day. Mostly in the morning and when I am sitting down relaxing. I was nervous last week when I didn't feel him move in a few hours, but then he started kicking me, so I figured he must have been sleeping. If you are worried you should call your doctor to make sure everything is ok.

Try drinking some cold orange juice and lying on your left side. Baby could be sleeping or just being lazy. If you still aren't feeling it after a little bit, I would call your doc for peace of mind.

Re: how often did you feel the baby move
I had this the other day. I didn't feel the baby move at all! I didn't worry too much because I had a doctors appt that night and got to see her moving around in there. I asked my doctor and he said its completely normal to have some days where LO is lazy and some days when they are crazy!

I didn't feel the baby move too much at the stage. I would feel twinges and sometimes it was just me thinking it was him. It was not until later when he took over and I knew without a doubt it was my little man.

Re: how often did you feel the baby move
Thanks for the responses. I did end up calling the doctor and they made me eat something high in protein, drink lots of water and then lay down for 2 hours and count the kicks. It was hard to count because they said anything counts as movement but it was hard to tell what was actually a kick. I did have at least 10 in 2 hours so I think baby is ok, I'll call the dr in the morning just to make sure.

Re: how often did you feel the baby move
At 23 weeks, I still wasn't feeling DD regularly. Where's your placenta? If it's anterior (in front), you won't feel as much until the baby gets bigger. The baby isn't that big yet. Don't worry - in another month or so, the baby will be doing jumping jacks on your ribs... and you'll feel everything.

Re: how often did you feel the baby move
I have an anterior placenta, so I really didn't feel my little boy move until 25 weeks. Now I feel him move mostly in the evening when i am laying down.

I would feel movement here and there at that stage but nothing consistent.

Re: how often did you feel the baby move
I was a little nervous over this past weekend that I hadn't felt a lot of movement (26 weeks) but a day later he was back to kicking and hiccuping. I think it can be inconsistent at that stage.
Glad to hear your LO is back to moving around!
