I can't believe I am posting this already
Well ladies I know I was not on the boards as much as I would have liked to be, but this is the only place I feel comfortable announcing this news...
Our SON Matthew Bruno was born last Thursday may 31st at 1051 am via emergency c section He was only 26w5d and 1 pound 9 oz. Thank god he is doing Pretty well for his ga. He is breathing on his own and acting like a true fighter!
I began feeling decreased movement memorial day weekend and the doc sent me directly to Lij wednesday night for monitoring. By thursday morning matt was here and even though he is q tiny little thing he bas filled our hearts with more love than we can imagine.
It seems that anywhere from my 20 week sono to my 26 week appt all my fluid was gone and they needed to get Matty out ASAP. Which is why I felt the decreased
Movement.
We know he has a long road ahead of him but as long as he keeps up with how he is progressing we will have him home with us in no time.
I will post some photos and his full birth story once things settle down a little. Thank you for reading If you've made It this far.

These Little guys are stronger than you think. Hang in there and congrats on the birth of your son! Prayers that he keeps getting bigger and stronger!

That is amazing!!! Congratulations on the birth of your son and I'm so so glad you were monitored and they did what they had to!! Hope to hear that he'll be able to come home by your original due date, if not sooner!!!

Glad to hear he is doing well! Love those nurses at LIJ! My son was born 6 weeks early there and was in the NICU. Sending you tons of prayers. He is a fighter!
