registering for bottles?
What did you register for?
Just wondering if I should put a mix of types/sizes/etc...
I have to add that registering has been the single most stressful process throughout my pregnancy.

Re: registering for bottles?
I picked 2 different brands and registered for the gift sets. I opended the one I really wanted to use and tried it with my LO. He was ok with it so I then returned the other set and bought more of the 8 oz bottles being that is what we will use most of and for the longest amount of time. Believe it or not we used only 2 4 oz bottles most of the time and LO is 6 weeks.

Re: registering for bottles?
I registered for 1 brand dr browns. I registered for mult 4oz bottles, mult 8 oz bottles, the bottle warmer, sterilizer, and storage caps. I plan to open only 1 box of the 4 oz bottles to see if likes them IF she doesnt then at least I can exchange it and dont have to first start buying more stuff...
ETA: I also registered for mult nipples at the mult levels as well...

Re: registering for bottles?
i registered for the standard-width Dr Browns bottles (not the wide neck ones). Everyone i spoke with said that Dr Browns are annoying to clean, but totally worth it
ETA: i registered for mostly 8oz size, but also a few 4oz bottles. Also registered for size 1 and 2 nipples, the inner-tube cleaner brushes, and the dishwasher rack.

Re: registering for bottles?
I registered for the Dr. Browns gift set (2 4oz and 3 8oz) as well as 2 4oz wide neck bottles in case of colic.
I also registered for Medela storage bottles for the fridge and a lot of Lansinoh bags for freezing.

I registered for Born Free, too... Same sizes.
One tip for not getting too stressed out - print out a registry checklist, BBB has a great one. Then slowly look up each item on the list to see what's best for you. I adored registering and did pretty much all of it online so I could look up high chairs, bottles, etc and then register for the one that was best for us.

I used Playtex Drop-ins with DS and I might get a new set of these too ~ not sure which one this LO will like

Re: registering for bottles?
With ds I only registered for one brand (Playtex drop ins) and he never had a problem with them. I did have 4oz and 8oz. You can prob just do the larger size of whatever you're getting but I found it easier to have the smaller ones too - why carry the bigger one around if you don't have to?

Re: registering for bottles?
I registered for Born Free, as well. I did some research and found these to be the best for baby. I agree with the PP, use the checklist from BBB (in my case) and it made things organized and easy. I also went home and did some more registering on-line, which was simple.
I refer to babyzone.com a lot. They are very informative and cover almost all topics. They rate strollers, bottles, etc. I found their breast feeding guide great, as well.
Good luck!
