2d/3d sono and gender determination
Our sono tech won't tell us the gender until 20w but I am awful at waiting. I think we might do a 2d or a 3d sono that does gender determination. Does anyone know what the earliest they can do this? I'm 15w.
Also, anyone have recommendations for a place in Nassau.

Colleen - I am in the same boat as you!!!!!
my obgyn has me scheduled for June 21 and i will be 18w6 days -- I really want to find out sooner -- but the only free weekend we have is June 9th.
I live in Eastern Suffolk and don't know where to go!
when is your gender sono scheduled for?

I hear ya, the wait is torture, i was counting the days to my 20 week sono!. I think for sure by 16 weeks they should be able to tell.

It's not even scheduled yet!! I go back in next week (16w) and then I guess I will schedule my 20w appt which will fall the first week of July.

Thank you! This was one of the palces I was looking at- its right by me. But there it doesn't say on the website how many weeks for the gender determination package.

my appointment wasn't until 20w either & i couldnt wait.. i went to the city @ 17w for a gender sono .. they say its best to do them after 16w
if you're interested in traveling, this is where i went --

I went to Baby's First Appearance in Port Jefferson. The girl was right with  at 16w0d.

I went here for 3D pictures not to determine gender but I am pretty sure they say they can determine gender at 16w!
