Is it true they don't sell beer anymore??

No beer on state property is what they told me was the reason. But you can buy beer at Robert Moses so who know the real reason.

You can only buy alcohol in the VIP section with VIP tickets.

It's true they don't sell beer anymore, it's been for awhile now. They used too, all the concerts I went to when I was younger we could buy alcohol. I was so upset the first concert I went to a few years back when they stopped selling it, it was awful!!!

There was a movement a while back spearheaded by MADD to stop the consumption of alcohol at Jones Beach Theatre
So you can buy beer at the beach and drink beer in the parking lot, but you can't buy it inside the theater unless you're in the VIP section
