Re: pregnancy and pools??

My dr told me no after 37 weeks because you wouldn't know if your water breaks.

Re: pregnancy and pools??

If you're not 9 months pg, I'm sure it's fine.
JMO, but it's probably fine even if you are 9 months pg. One of my friends had her water break in the shower, and she definitely knew and felt it.

Thank you ladies
I opted to just dunk my feet in our pool rather than risk jumping in but it was sooooooooo tempting!!!!!

Re: pregnancy and pools??

My last pregnancy I am pretty sure my doctor said I can go in the pool until the very end. That is what I am planning on this time also.

Re: pregnancy and pools??

I was in the pool until the day I delivered.
At the end it was heaven sent because I had a spring float raft that I was able to lay on my STOMACH on!
I felt so weightless and it even helped my swelling!
My Dr was fine with it.

Re: pregnancy and pools??

I went swimming this weekend. I never asked my doctor about this, but I don't see why you couldn't go swimming. I signed DS up for a 2 week swim lesson program that starts when I'll be 36+ weeks.
