Spinoff to soreness..
I'm almost 37 weeks and lately I wale up and my hands hurt like if I make a fist all the joints hurt. I definetly have swollen fingers and feet at times but am I the only one?
I asked my ob and she was like " oh um. Never heard of that" So I guess that's ok?

It's definitely from the swelling The pressure makes that happen. It should go away very quickly after the baby is here. I'm surprised your OB said she hadn't heard of that! I think it's very common! (Not that I'm a doctor, but cmon!) -- It was a very common complaint in my L&D class when I was pregnant 2 years ago.

Mine have been like that for weeks! The joints in my fingers are SO sore in the morning, and my fingers are kind of red. My OB didn't seem concerned.

Re: Spinoff to soreness..
I think it was about 2 months PP when I could put my rings on again. It was a wonderful day. :) I still have my wedding band on right now (I'm only 19 w) but my e ring had to be put away already. (It's a quarter size smaller than my band.)

You can get carpel tunnel when pregnant. Unfortunately it does not always go away right after. My sister still has issues 6 months later

My doctor said that if my fingers were numb, it could be carpal tunnel, but since they were in pain, it wasn't.
Fergie, when I woke up this morning, not only were my finger joints killing me, but when I went to close my left hand, my fingers would lock up! They were better after a few minutes, but I wanted to give you a heads up in case that happens to you too.

Oh no that sounds painful.. Good to know. I can't really make a fist in the morning then like you said it gets better later in the day. Only a few more weeks for us!
