I can't....I'm so overwhelmed

My responsibilities at work ( Elem School) keep growing, my students are horrible self-centered babies who don't even think to pick up something from the floor or help lift things for me, my husband never helps with any chores around the house except taking out the trash cans 1x a week and giving DD baths
The nursery is not ready by any means for this baby and all I WANT to do is come home and put my huge, swollen feet up for a while so my legs don't throb and ache the entire night or next day..... I am so DONE today...I just want to run away from it allChat Icon

Oh I have 25 days to go until Chat Icon when I KNOW it's just going to get worse with C-sec pain and no sleep.

I'm SO sorry you're feeling overwhelmed Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
Maybe sit your husband down and let him know you need help around the house and with DD.

Good Luck with everything

Re: I can't....I'm so overwhelmed

Thanks for responding to my vent... I've tried to ask him to do things especially things I cant do right now like carry the vaccuum upstairs to vaccuum etc. What drives me crazy is he always does it so slowly... If I ask him to do somthing at 8am by 4 pm its still not done but he manages to get video games in there somewhere.

I dont want to be a mother to Chat Icon Chat Icon and DH!!!

Chat Icon Sorry you're feeling so overwhelmed!! I hope the kids at work take it easier on you and the hubby helps out!!! I have 5 months to go and we will be ripping off the 2nd floor of our house and rebuilding it to include 3 bdrms, we are only outsourcing the interior work and DH will be finishing off the interior himself, we don't even have a start date for the work so I can only imagine the panic mode I'll be in in a few months!! I think it's only natural to freak out towards the end, it just doesn't make it any easier when you don't feel like you're getting any help. Take a deep breath and do something for yourself this weekend, enjoy some alone time or go out for brunch w/ a girlfriend, feel better!!

I'm sorry you are overwhelmed.

My DH tries to help out but he never does things like I do it. I always want to fix something he did actually do for me. It also takes him one week to do something I can do in a few hours. Everything is so s...l...o...w...!!! So, we accomplish things here and there but it takes WAY too much time that we are constantly behind on chores and tasks.

I try to keep us focused and on task, but between DH talking on the phone to his parents (always a 2 hour conversation at minimum), playing video games online with his friends, and taking naps or mindlessly surfing the web... it sometimes seems like he never has time to help me or prepare for DD's arrival.

Just do the best you can do on your own and forget everything else. You need to just lay down and DE-STRESS!! Stress is the worst, especially when pregnant.

im so sorry you are going through this.. I feel your pain with DH though. When it comes to this baby, i feel it is all on me.. i hardly get help adn when i do, i need to be so grateful for every little thing.. We need a place where all us preggos can go adn be away from them for a while.. where we can put our feet up, maybe even have someone massage them for us..rub our bellies andour backs, have calorie free, sugar free, deliciiousness.
i know i am off in lala land.. but a girl can dream..
