Glider & Ottoman Question
For you ladies who are registered for this or planning to purchase one, do you plan to do it in colors that are more neutral so you can use the glider & ottoman in another room eventually?
Is this something that is really only for use when your LO is an infant?
What do you plan to do with your gilder & ottoman? Are you going to always keep it in LO's room?
Im so confused as to what color to purchase...

Re: Glider & Ottoman Question
I would get neutral. I had blue cushions and matched DS's room nicely. I only used it in there until he was in a bed (20 months old), I didnt want him climbing all over it if he was by himself. Now I have it in the playroom. I'm getting more neutral cushions to put it back in 's nursery.

Re: Glider & Ottoman Question
With ds my glider was the splurge in the room, so I got a neutral color. I knew I wanted more kids down the road and would use it. I also figured that if I got a neutral color that goes with my colors elsewhere in the house I can move it to the living room if I wanted (it's a recliner/glider, so it looks like a living room chair). It's my most favorite thing in the house and I'm so happy that I got it. Ds is now 3 and I'm planning on using it for

Re: Glider & Ottoman Question
I never used my glider when DD was an infant. I sit in it in her room now while she plays or I read her stories in it. (She's 16 m now.) But she spent her infancy living in our bedroom in the rock n play and I spent all my time in the living room with her the first year or so.
If it's a thought at all, a more neutral color may be easier for resale later on.

Re: Glider & Ottoman Question
I got a brown one so that when Im done using it in LO's room I can put it in the living room. I got a real comfy one and plan on using it while he is an infant.

Re: Glider & Ottoman Question
I got a neutral one and it stayed in DC's room until age 3. We'd sit in it an dread books etc. Now it's in my bedroom and I'll use it for this baby.

Re: Glider & Ottoman Question
I went with neutral because I plan on both my kids keeping the gliders in their rooms for the long term. I know their room will change so figured neutral will always work.

Re: Glider & Ottoman Question
I got a white glider to match our baby furniture, but with a blue microfiber cushion. I wanted something I could recycle for another baby. We're moving DD to the bigger bedroom and leaving the nursery as-is for this baby.
DD is 17 months and we still do her whole bedtime routine (brush teeth, story, rock, sing a lullabye) in the glider. When Baby M 2 comes, I'll be rocking both of them in there lol. I didn't have floor space for an ottoman.
