What can I take for a sore throat?
I know its coming... a few family members were sick with a head cold last weekend and today my throat is on FIRE... whats safe to take to ease my sore throat?
I CANT GET SICK! I SUCK AT GETTING BETTER!!! lol
Edited to ask, can I use cough drops?

I had to go to the dr. to get antibiotics I waited until I couldn't take the pain any more never again other then that cough drops spoon full of lemon and honey

Def gargle with salt water
lemon with cold water and even hot water
My dr told me reg robitusson is ok but check with your dr first.
I was told halls is ok too. But again you may want to check with your dr.

A sore throat always means the beginning of a cold for me. I gargle with warm salt water, take lots of vitamin c and halls. I would normally take about 5000mg of vitamin c per day be being pregnant I take 2-3000mg.

Yup. this is what it meant for me. I have a full on cold. Fever, sore throat runny nose... 
I have to get some additional vitamin c. this sucks
