UPDATE: I don't know what to do

I called my doc this morning as soon as it was a reasonable hour - I couldn't sleep after I saw it getting heavier at 4 am.

We went to the emergency room at the hospital where she was and able to get a sono. We still have a heartbeat!

So I feel a lot better going on the trip and am basically going to try bedrest today/tomorrow. The spotting has lessened a lot so that is hopeful too.

Still scared as it could be bad news at any time in the future, but for right now I'm trying to stay positive.

We had a loss last Sept at 10 weeks. The baby was measuring small from the first appt and the dates didn't match up. I also had low progesterone and spotting pretty much throughout. I think those were early warning signs.

We were so excited to get another BFP. I had an appt on Thursday and everything looked great. I am 6 weeks 4 days. We heard and saw the heartbeat on Thurs and the dates matched up and my lab worked showed normal progesterone levels.

I had some light spotting last week which stopped. Yesterday it started again and has gotten progressively heavier. It's now pink blood and quite a bit. I've had to change my liner.

I am set to fly on Monday for a business trip all week (in the US). I just don't know what to do.

I am pretty sure I am going to loose this baby as this is exactly how it started last time. I don't know how I can cancel my trip.

I just don't know what to do. I am so devastated. Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss - and unfortunatly there is nothing anyone can say to make you feel better. Just hope for the best, call your dr and see what happens.

you nee to get on the phone with your doc. Could be that you have low progesterone. bestthing you can do is call your doc. good luck.. hope itall works out for you..

Don't count yourself out yet...I'm 15 weeks also had a prior loss and I had bleeding around then too...I actually had clots passing...went to my doctor and was put on progesterone suppositories and now everything is going great at 15 weeks...definitely call your doctor I waited to call mine and spent an entire weekend crying that I was miscarrying only for everything to be ok....many

Even though it's the weekend call your doctors emergency line and explain what is happening. Your doctor may have saturday hours and may see you or may tell you to go to the hospital if they feel it necessary. You still might be fine . Spotting, even heavy spotting can be common during early pregnancy. It is bad timing abou your business trip. Are you the only one going or are other employees going that could cover for you if necessary? Do you have an understanding boss and a way to contact him or her before Monday? I honestly dont know what I would do if I were in your position but I can only imagine how scared you must be and how much you probably don't want to go on this trip right now. If there's any way you can get to the doctor, or even the emergency room, before Monday, maybe u could get another sono and bloodwork and hopefully everything is ok and it's just normal spotting and you could feel a bit reassured before leaving for your trip. Ok, considering your first appointment went well, please don't lose hope yet! I had cramping and bright red bleeding at 8w3d with this pregnancy, and it felt identical to when I miscarried. I rushed in to my doctor the next morning, and the baby was fine!! The red bleeding subsided and then it was brown spotting for like 2 weeks. I guess some people are more prone to spotting than others. I hope this is the case for you too!!! If you can't get your doc to see you before Monday, head to the emergency room, at least if you can hear baby's heartbeat again and be reassured that everything is ok you can take that trip without stressing the whole week. You're in my thoughts & prayers!!

As the other girls said, I would def call you dr for an emergency appoitnment and then play your business trip by ear... do whatever your dr tells you and if thats to cancel your trip... then you have to take care of yourself and do it.

I'm s glad to hear everything is ok! I know how scary that is. I went to the ER too and felt much better.
