DH was there, but we had a family table set up. He loves all of my friends so he loved it and felt totally comfortable. Besides, it was nice having him around to help out and carry heavy things

I wanted co-ed shower and for our 1st pregnancy (ended in MC) DH was on board. When I got preggo again and we began discussing it, he decided against it. I was disappointed b/c I didnt want a typical shower. No offense to any ladies out there but I am the last of my friends to have kids and I have been to 1000000 bridal & baby showers and I find them to be boring. Also, I don't have a mom and I knew the planning would be emotional for me. Long story short, I am having a typical shower b/c my MIL insisted. I don't think that DH will be there at all except to help pack up the presents. I think he is planning on playing golf during the day w/my dad or his friends.

Yes he was there and he hung out in the restaurant with a couple of his guy friends and family
Mine too. He was in the room for awhile in the beginning and then the last hour or so.

I couldn't pay DH to stick around the whole time.
Last time he dropped me off and came back at the end to pack up gifts and bring me home.

DH went to my showers (minus my work shower). I dont care what he says, he totally enjoyed it! I didn't have to twist his arm or anything...we felt the same way about is as you and your DH do...its for OUR daughter...so we both participated!
