Gianna Therese is here!
Hey all!! Semi short version- went to the doc last Wednesday and I was 1.5 cm dilated. Doc wanted me to meet him at the hosp that Saturday to evaluate me. By then, I was about 2cm. He did an exam and sent me home. I got home around 12:00 p.m and began having contractions. I went back to the hosp around 6:00 p.m and was 3cm dilated. Then the fun began- things were fine until it was time for me to push around 4:00 a.m. My doc thought I wasn't feeling the contractions strongly enough in order to give really good pushes, so he stopped the epidural. Holy pain batman. But, I worked (and cried) through it and at 6:40 a.m. my dream come true was born.
