Lamaze classes
Please recommend where you took any classes like these. Are they even worth it for a first time mommy? I'm in holbrook.

Re: Lamaze classes
Where are you delivering? Lamaze Liz had a great class that included a tour of St Charles hospital. It was all about labor and delivery. Went over the breathing thing for a little while, but focused on what to expect during labor and delivery.
This time around I am going to bradley classes because I want to try for a natural birth. I have spoken to this woman and I am really excited to take her class.

Re: Lamaze classes
I wouldn't take a Lamaze class -- I'd take a more general birthing class that discusses several methods. Modern birthing techniques are better than strict Lamaze (IMHO). I took a l&d class at my hospital (OOS) and it went through more Bradley techniques and some meditation styles and I was able to have a drug-free birth like I'd wanted.
