my scare today
i brought my 2 year old DD to the playground this morning. she has been begging to go and the weather just hasn't been nice enough to go, except for sunday and that was her bday party.
anyways, we were there and we fell off a piece of equipment. i fell onto my back and she fell onto my stomach. i had some immediate cramping but not bad so i didn't leave. but once i picked her up to leave, i had so much pain. i called my OB who said to head to L&D to get evaluated (i'm 27weeks).
baby is fine, but they are keeping me overnight to monitor for placenta abruption (placenta tearing from uterus). i was having contractions every 3mins and now i'm on meds and they have slowed to every 5. goal is for them to go away and then i can go home tomorrow. worse case is, well, you know, and let's just say i don't want to have my 2lb7oz baby yet.
so in case you ever fall, def call your OB and head to the hospital to get checked out! you never know.

OMG D!!!!!! How scary! I am praying that everything turns out ok and you can go home tomorrow! LOTS AND LOTS of hugs, prayers, good thoughts, good vibes, etc!!!!!!!!

So scary! I'm glad you're ok! We really have to be extra careful at this point bc I think sometimes we just don't realize how very fragile we are...
We were working on the baby's nursery this weekend and I was just simply going through things and organizing, BUT I was on my feet throughout the entire day. Well, at night, I was in so much pain, and I was having pretty bad cramps that it freaked the daylights out of me. This was definitely my body's way of telling me "Stop it! You're pregnant!".
How adorable though that your baby is 2.7 lbs already!

thank you ladies for your thoughts & prayers! hoping to be released today. contractions had slowed but started up again so going back on the monitor. baby is fine as is placenta, baby gained 1oz in one day!!
