how long did your furniture take to come

when you picked it out how long from when you bought it to delivery did it take

just trying to get a time frame lol

also did the place put it together or did you have to?

dh and i were just talking and we wanted it to come when he had a week vacation but was not sure if it took weeks,days to come in once it was ordered

Mine came in in about a week from JCP.... I had to put it together myself. Good luck!

Literally in 1 week from bru. Furniture was prob in stock and there was no waiting list I guess. Wasnt ready for it that early but it all worked out. My crib had to be put together but the dresser came whole.

They told me it could take up to 10 and it ended up taking over 14. I ordered from Buy Buy Baby

First DS arrived 10 days early and I had no crib, only the hutch.

They put it together for us. It was free delivery and set up.

i just went online yesterday to look at the set we are getting and it says it is backordered until july 14th...so we will be ordering it tonight

I got my furniture from BBB and they actually had it available in stock. It could have been delivered that day but we held off a few weeks. They charged us $25 to assemble the crib. I'm sure DH could have done it but he isn't the most handy person and for $25 I figured why risk it.

G we got it from BRU, we had it sent to the TRU by us, so we didnt have to pay for shipping. Ant and his friend with a truck picked it up. It came with in less then 2 weeks. The glider took longer @ 2 months.
They only had to put the crib together.
Also if you do BRU you can use their 20% on the furniture and if you open a CC with them it is an additional 10 % off.

We were told 10-14 weeks from BBB, and it arrived at BBB in 10. We aren't having it delivered to the house for another few weeks though.

With DS, we were told 8-12 weeks and it took at least 14 weeks. I waited too long to order. I didn't order the furniture until 28 weeks and DS ended up being born 2 weeks early. The furniture didn't arrive until he was at least 4 weeks old. It didn't really matter though because DS hated the crib.

This time, I ordered the furniture by 22 weeks. It should come in within 12 weeks, but we won't have it delivered and set up until after the baby is born.

My ILs just ordered it from BRU last week..maybe Friday. They were told 7-10 days. DH & FIL will go to the store to pick up with FIL's truck. We'll see if 7-10 days is accurate :)

We were told it takes 8-12 weeks with DS. But the company takes a month vacation in June so that added to the time. I ordered the furniture when I was 25 weeks and it did arrive until DS was about 2 weeks.

for the set we picked bbb said it would take 18-20 weeks

we went to the manufactures website to find another store and they had all pieces in stock. its sill at the wareshouse

we paid for them to put everything together.

You wont know until you choose a set and speak with the place you are ordering it from. Every furniture manufacturer and store selling their furniture have different times.
If the set you want is backordered it could be months. If its not it will be weeks.

I decided on a set went to 1 store they told me it was backordered and wouldnt come for 14 weeks! I went to another store and it came in 4. Same exact set, same manufacturer. Dont know why that is but it is.

We selected a set from BBB. 3 of the 4 pieces were in stock. The one piece we ordered will take 8-14 weeks. They are holding the other pieces until the one is delivered. All pieces are assembled except for the crib.

We ordered from JCP - took about a week, we had to put it together... crib and changer.

Also ordered the glider from Amazon - took 2 days, but we had to send it back - it was crooked.

Re-ordered the glider from Target - took about 10 days.

We ordered ours from JCP and it came in less than 2 weeks. We LOVE it! We only had to put the crib togetherm everything else was put together and wrapped super great (seriously..took forever to unwrap lol).

We ordered from Buy Buy Baby (I adore what we got) and they said 8-12 weeks and it took 12 weeks. We paid for the assembly.
