Is there anything we can take for constipation?
 I'm all bloated and just not regular. Stupid hormones.

When I was pregnant with DD I was told I could take Colace, but that was like 6 years ago. Maybe someone can confirm that just in case.

You can take Mirilax. It's not a laxative, it's a stool softener like colase, so all it does it draw more water into your colon to help smooth things out. My OB said you can actually safely take it for your entire pregnancy if necessary (the package says only 7 days). It's perfectly safe and doesn't make you go, it just "makes it easier" lol.

colace is what my doc said I take one everyday with my iron pill. works like a charm and you can take up to 3 a day.
I would check with your dr first

i was also told senekot whcih is a vegetable laxative.. i take both nightly.

This is the list my OB gave me last week:
Stool softener can take 2 a day
Senecot (spl) it's a veg laxative
Mirilax
also prune juice is good too

Do you take prescription prenatals? Mine have stool softners in them and work wonders. I cannot miss a day though. I did have a rough 2 weeks in the first tri though, like around 10-12 and then it eased up.
But I do think stool softners are allowed. Also try dried prunes and raisin bran!

Yep Colace is fine. If you're reallyyyyy backed up, my OB told me I could do milk of magnesia. Works WONDERS.
