Spinoff to waxing
is anyone NOT getting waxed before delivery?
I was very sporatic with it. I never kept up with it and went here and there for vacations and stuff but, the thought of having it done now terrifies me.
I'm keeping it trim with the help of a mirror so tell me I'll be ok! LOL

Re: Spinoff to waxing
Honestly, Im one of those people who always wants to make sure that Im "well kept" down there for dr. appointments and such. But at this point, I could care less what's going on down there. I can't see it, haven't been able to for awhile and Im sure they've seen it all so I've pretty much given up at this point.

i'm the same way, i usually have to be super neat down there, but now at 37 weeks, i find myself caring less and less. plus, i've never gotten waxed and i'm sure not going to start now!

Re: Spinoff to waxing
I don't wax, I just shave, I shaved till the last day of my pregnancy with DD too, I actually did it when my water broke, lol. But I was also not that big with DD and it wasn't hard for me to see/ shave down there, not sure what will happen this time around, looks like I'll be bigger , but hoping I can still do it, if not oh well, I'm having a CS anyway and I'm pretty sure they shave you where they need to cut anyway. Waxing is not something I can do, I just can't have someone spreading my legs and waxing hair off my vajayjay, I'm weird when it comes to stuff like that
Aghh, sorry, keep editing, my Ipad messes up the words sometimes, have to turn off auto correct I think .

Re: Spinoff to waxing
I just started getting waxing down there maybe 2 years ago- and I only do it for vacations and special occasions. I am terrified of doing it before birth but I might. I am still debating. Or I might just try to do the best trimming I can and leave it at that. I'm pretty sure the doctors dont care but I have heard that if you are too hairy, they shave it for you and I don't want them coming near me with a razor!!

Re: Spinoff to waxing
I'll be waxing... I was never any good at shaving to be honest, even pre-pregnancy lol. I never felt like I did that great of a job and I just like the feeling of waxing... not gonna lie- the past few times have def hurt way more than usual, but for me it's worth it.

Re: Spinoff to waxing
im also one of those people who always needs to have things be cleaned up before doctor appointments but lately ive been getting less worried about it..since there are so many appointments and im getting tired of it already lol.
With that said, I will never forget this story..one of my best friends sister went into l&d and she told her sister that after all the embarrassment of all the appointments and upcoming decency goes out the window ordeal, the nurse yells out to another nurse in the hallway to grab a razor because "she must have a shave!" Man, i just dont want that...but no I dont think I will be getting waxed, I will try to shave... then again, ask me in about 30 weeks lol
