12 week sono guesses?

I have my 12 week sono and NT scan tomorrow. They say there is a line between all babies legs and if its pointing one way it's a girl, the other a boy. Supposidly its %80-85 accurate. The sono tech told me last week that she doesnt believe this since she has seen the line going one way then the other 10 minutes later.

Has anyone received an accurate guess at 12 weeks.

I'm obviously not running out to register based on this info, but I'm curious what they think at this point.

This pregnancy, at 12 w 2 d at my NT we were told boy. We'll find out on 5/21 if it's definitely a boy. But the sono tech found something even I thought was an obvious penis.

With DD, we had no guess at all at my NT u/s (11 w 4 d) but found out girl at the anatomy scan at 19 w 4 d. Saw the hamburger.

My layperson understanding is that boys are much easier to tell earlier, but it's still only about 80% that early, even if they say boy.

Some of the ladies on here are good guessers!

I posted my NT scan pic the other day and they guessed for me. I won't find out for sure for another 5 weeks.

The sono tech needs to get a good side shot though. I read a study that at 12 weeks it's 84% accurate and jumps to 90% at 13 weeks.

they wouldn't even check for me at my 12 week ultrascreen .. good luck!!

at my 12 week they had no guesses and said they couldn't tell.

At my 12 week NT scan the tech said she was leaning toward boy, but mostly because the size of his nub was a bit on the larger side, even though all babies at that stage have a nub. At my anatomy scan we had a different tech and lo and behold - still boyyy!!!

If they can't tell Im holding out for the 14 or 16 with peri (which they said def. at 16) or 15 with OB.
