decreased fetal movement...?

But with my doppler I hear him just fine and I was just at the peri yesterday. Should I be at all concerned? 39w2d. A few days ago he was moving so much it was almost scary and now hardly anything. Normal? Gahhh. Eta and of course the minute I post this he kicks me hard!! Lol. Tyyy

I believe fetal movement slows down toward the end because there is very little room to move. I would check with dr. just to make sure because I check on everything, but I suspect all is good

Tell your OB you want a sono. I had decreased fetal movement because I was low fluid towards the end but my OB was dismissing it. I refused to leave until she checked it further. I had to be sent to the hospital immediately to be induced.

i agree with the pp. I also had decreased movement towards the end with my first pregnancy when i told my dr this he seemed concerned and gave me a sono.Praise God everything was fineChat Icon

Agreed. This happened with my friend's wife and she needed to be induced. Although it's likely nothing, you can never be too careful.
