Anyone have the MaternitT21 test done?
Do doctors normally do this? It says its 99% accurate but its not FDA approved?? Or is this what they do at 16 weeks?

I had it done. Its the newest way to check for genetic disorders without the risk of an amnio or CVS.
I got it done at 11 or 12 weeks I believe, everything came back fine.

So why does my Dr keep telling me about the amnio?? I'll only be 53 when I deliver and I haven't even had the CT scan done. I'd rather have more bloodwork.

Did you use egg donation? If you did use an egg donor I wouldn't recommend having an amnio. That is if the donor is within the recommended age range. Which I believe is under 32 or 35... Anyways, good luck
