Baby Still Breeched
When did your baby turn head down? Im 28w and the baby is still breeched. I know it is still early yet, but Im just worried that she will never turn head down. Were you able to feel when your baby turned head down? And what happens if the baby doesnt ever turn head down?

Re: Baby Still Breeched
My baby just turned at 36 weeks, so i think u still have plenty of time..I was happy she turned because i didn't want a c-section..I'm just nervous she may have turn back the other way now because the other day i felt some intesne movement.
You still have a good chance your baby will turn. GL!

Re: Baby Still Breeched
I went for my 35 week check up and the doc said he is facing down. Don't worry so much. She will most likely get into position.

Re: Baby Still Breeched
My son was breach ~ then he flipped into position a couple weeks before I was due then flipped back to being breech a few days after (I guess he didn't like being in position) You have plenty of time ~ I am 27 weeks and my baby is breech too.

Re: Baby Still Breeched
i heard that if your baby is breech to try to get them interested by lightly tapping your lower abdomen so their curiosity moves them around and doing squats.. I dont know if its proven but worth the try?

DC2 was breech up until 37 weeks, when he finally turned. I felt it. A lot if movement and I felt his head to the side in the middle if the night.
You have plenty of time still.

Re: Baby Still Breeched
Question- at what point do they decide to do a c-section? My baby has been breech as well so far.

Re: Baby Still Breeched
Hi Everyone,
There are some alternatives to do if the baby is in the breech position up until the day you deliver. There is something called The Webster Technique. I am a Family Wellness Chiropractor certified in this technique. I would be more than happy to explain more if you would like. Please FM or you can visit my website for some more info about it. Good luck!

Re: Baby Still Breeched
There are things you can do to encourage the baby to turn. Check out spinningbabies.com. Is a chiropractor covered by your insurance? Chiro care can help turn a stubborn breech baby. So can acupuncture.
