All three of us were team green babies. I think she had the option to find out only with my brother, but she chose not to. I don't think the choice was available with me and my sister.

I know my older sister and I were, but by the time my little sister was born in '88 I think my mom knew she was another girl.

I was born in Dec of 81 and my mother claims she never had a sonogram that they didn't exist  (she has a terrible memory) my DH was born in May 82 and my MIL had plenty of sonos (not sure if they could tell sex then though)...so unless they invented sonos in that 5 month span my mom is wrong.
Suffice to say she was team green with me and my brother
Interesting. She was under 35 and she says she doesn't think they gave them back then unless you were over 35 or at risk for some reason. My MIL had some issues so maybe thats why she got it done?

I was team green also, born in 83. My mom said they couldn't determine the sex during sonos at that time.

I was also born in '81 and my sister was born in '82. Sonograms were very uncommon back then, unless something was wrong.
Maybe if you had better insurance back then, it would have covered a sonogram but it wasn't the norm. I had a cousin who was born a few weeks after me and her mom had complications during the pregnancy and she was regularly monitored by sonograms but my mom never had one at all.
I was a team green baby, they had no choice. Same for my sister.

This is a funny question because back when a lot of us were born they really didn't have a choice. I think if you are over 30 you were def team green. My aunt had twins and didn't even know she was having twins until they were born.
Its amazing how far technology has come in our lifetime!

Sonograms were very new when my mom was pregnant with me.
Let's just say they were dead set on naming me Joshua Monroe
My mom found out the sex with both my younger sisters as well, but apparently they were both clearly girls

I don't think there were sonos when my mom was pregnant with me and my sisters. She was team green with all 4 of us.
ETA: If they did have sonos my mom would have ended up with a c-section with my 3rd sister. She was breech and her elbow somehow wedged itself in her ribs. She said thank goodness they knocked her out during delivery.

My mom was convinced I was a boy.

Yep. All three of us, even my sister who was born in '85.
When I was born, I honestly don't think there was another option.
My DS was a  baby.
DD was supposed to be a baby, but, do to a slip up of a counselor, we found out.

My mom had an amniocentesis done during her pregnancy w/ me, so that's how she knew I was a girl.
