Team green girls - anatomy scan question
I know this is dumb but I am worried we may see something, like a peepee. DH thinks its a boy and is going to be looking for it bc that is how he is. Anyway I really just don't want this to be ruined for me!!!! And I don't want DH finding out either and he sorta wants to know.
So did u see anything or no???

I don't think so, but I also think it's so hard to decipher anything on those things!! lol. You might see something that looks boy, but that could also be the umbilical cord, girls are even harder, they have to go between the legs and really look for three lines. I think you will be fine.

You will not know your child's asss from his elbow (both literally and figuratively) when looking at the screen IMO... I wouldnt worry about it...

We are  and with every scan we remind the Dr & Tech that we dont want to know. They tell us to close our eyes when they are in the general area. Some places will turn off the TV.

The tech was pointing out my DS' boy parts and I would have had no clue unless she had pointed it out, so I think you'll be fine.

we could see stuff. we had begged but the baby moved so much that unfortunately we were able to see or not see body parts. I work in the medical field adn know waht to look for for a boy or a girl, and this little one made it very clear..im still team green and have not had a doc nor tech confirm it, but i have a feeling..

I completely agree - especially if this is your first baby. I swore with our first pregnancy, I saw a penis every time we had a sono done - obviously not because we had a girl
If you tell them ahead of time they will either ask you to turn your head or do it so quickly you have no clue what is going on.

When we were in for the 20 week sono I said "cool! the baby is blinking!!!"
the tech said: "no, that's the heart"
don't worry about it!  have fun!!!

We are not Team Green- but just had out anatomy scan. Even though you think it would be obvious, it is sooooo not obvious! I think you'll be fine!
P.S- even when our baby showed us her private parts, I didn't know what it was!

I am on my third green team baby. I have always looked at the scan but could never tell what it was. The tech always knew we didn't want to know so would not describe what we were looking at at certain times. At one point this last time my dh was telling the kids what a big head the baby has and the tech was like um that's it's abdomen lol

Every time we have a sono, we tell the tech that we don't want to know. They never tell us to look away, and we've never seen anything! Once, the tech told me, "Oh, I already saw." They do it so quickly, and you have no idea what you're looking for.

with my first DC the tech told us to look away when she went in that area, this time she didn't tell us to look away and she didn't mention anything about the gender, but im sure they check it to see if everything is developing right, so either im having another boy because it was obvious she didn't have to zoom in that area, or she didn't check the area...Im going with im having another

I disagree that you definitely can't tell. My DH saw the potty shot/penis rigth away and declared it was a boy before the sonographer even knew. He was right.

With my first pregnancy, I had no idea when the tech even looked in that area. I had a growth sono and 1 or 2 more after that and don't remember having to look away. I definitely didn't see anything. With this pregnancy, I've been getting sonos every 4 weeks since my Level II. The tech tells us when to look away just in case.

It was a between the legs shot. He said he clearly saw the scrotum and penis (I wasn't looking). The sonographer said that you can't definitely tell, it could be the umbilical cord, but my DH was positive of what he saw and he was right. This was at 17 weeks. Yes, the baby is bigger vs 13 weeks, but there is also more detail and things are more definitely developed, so I think it's easier to tell then.
